The FR1200 Fingerprint Reader is a multi-factor biometric access control reader designed to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable authentication for modern access control systems. It supports fingerprint and RFID card verification, making it suitable for high-security environments that require flexible and accurate user identification.

Equipped with a ZK Optical fingerprint sensor, the FR1200 captures high-resolution fingerprint images and converts them into encrypted fingerprint templates. These templates are securely transmitted to compatible access control controllers and terminals using OSDP (Version 2.1.7) or ZK-RS485 communication protocols, ensuring stable and tamper-resistant data exchange. To enhance security, the device uses AES-128 encryption during data transmission, with the option to configure encryption settings based on system requirements.

The FR1200 is fully compatible with ZKTeco InBio Pro Plus controllers and ZKTeco fingerprint access control terminals, enabling seamless integration into centralized access control systems. It supports 125 kHz ID cards as standard and 13.56 MHz IC cards as optional, allowing organizations to implement card-based, biometric, or combined authentication methods.

Designed for real-world environments, the FR1200 features an IP65-rated housing, making it resistant to dust and water and suitable for indoor, outdoor, and semi-enclosed installations. Its compact form factor supports wall mounting and mullion mounting, making it ideal for doors, gates, turnstiles, and secure entry points.

With fast biometric verification speed (≤0.3 seconds), low false acceptance and rejection rates, and visual/audio indicators for user feedback, the FR1200 ensures smooth user flow without compromising security. It is widely used in office buildings, commercial facilities, industrial sites, data centers, residential complexes, and government projects where dependable biometric access control is required.
